We’ve grown up in a world where emotions often weren’t fully understood… they were shut down, avoided, or sometimes labelled as “too much”.Because of that, many of us were never really taught how to understand ourselves, support our bodies, or work through what we feel.And then we move into adulthood wondering why we might feel overwhelmed, reactive, or stuck in patterns that are hard to shift… sometimes thinking there’s something wrong with us.It can start to feel that way.But often, it’s not about something being wrong with you…it’s about not having been shown a different way yet.And that’s why so many people resonate with this work and what I share, because for the first time, things begin to make more sense.

Pause is about gathering and connecting with a like-minded group of women so you can slow down, literally pause, and learn new ways of supporting yourself through life.I want to be very clear - this isn’t therapy, and I’m not a therapist. This experience is about offering insight and practical tools that changed my life, to help you build self-compassion and feel more capable of supporting yourself in everyday life back at home.Life doesn’t stop being stressful, and things will still happen, but when you begin to meet yourself differently in those moments, things can start to feel more manageable.Doing this in person means you’re not just learning concepts, you’re practising them, experiencing them, and starting to build that skill in a way you can take home and continue using in your own life.
I’ve designed this retreat based on the steps that have supported me in my own journey, so you can explore and apply what feels relevant for you. Most of us move through life so quickly that we rarely stop to notice how we’re actually doing. On this day, we slow everything right down and create space to breathe, reflect, and bring gentle awareness to what’s been going on beneath the surface.I’ll guide you through simple exercises and reflections designed to help you notice what you’ve been carrying, how your body may be responding, and where you might be experiencing overwhelm or feeling in a constant state of doing.
Once we’ve created space and connected, we can start to make sense of things. I’ll guide you through understanding how your nervous system works, how past experiences can shape subconscious beliefs, and how those beliefs may influence your reactions today.You’ll begin to recognise your own patterns, explore what may have contributed to them, and start to see your responses not as flaws, but as patterns your system learned in an attempt to cope, patterns that can be worked with over time.This can feel like a deeper, more emotional day for some. The intention isn’t to relive or process trauma, but to gently explore your behaviours and notice what might be sitting underneath them. From there, we’ll focus on simple, practical ways to support yourself and create a greater sense of safety as you begin to respond differently.
Understanding yourself is powerful, but lasting change is often supported by self-compassion and having tools you can use in everyday life. On this day, I’ll guide you through simple, practical tools to help you support yourself when you feel overwhelmed, triggered, or stuck in familiar patterns.This is about building a toolkit you can come back to, so you feel more supported and more capable in moments that might otherwise feel difficult.We’ll also finish the day with a guided breathwork session, facilitated by a team I deeply trust.
The final day is about bringing everything together and moving forward with intention. We’ll reflect on what you’ve explored and begin connecting it to how you want to feel and move through life.We can write letters to our future selves and together we will do a fun and lighthearted vision boarding session to help make that feel more tangible. This isn’t about wishful thinking, but about aligning what you’ve come to understand with where you’d like to head next.You may leave with a greater sense of clarity and direction, along with tools to support yourself as you continue integrating this into your everyday life.
You know how sometimes you need a holiday from your holiday? This is a little like that.
This can be an emotional and deeply connective experience, so we’ve intentionally created space for you to slow down and absorb it all. You’re encouraged to rest, sleep in, enjoy a nourishing breakfast, and take part in a gentle, rejuvenating experience before we check out and head home.This day is about giving yourself time to integrate everything at your own pace, before returning to everyday life.

Five full days of guided sessions, teachings, and connection
All external group experiences (including breathwork, somatic movement, and sound-based sessions, with a focus on creating a supportive and comfortable environment)
A private room within shared accommodation (exact location on the Sunshine Coast to be confirmed)
Full catering across the five days: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and morning tea (dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice)

A supportive, intimate environment designed to help you slow down and engage in the experience (limited to 8 attendees)
